I recently stayed at a beautiful cottage in the charming village of Bakewell. The property was well-maintained and had all the amenities we needed. The attention to detail, like the welcome basket, was fantastic. The cottage was also conveniently located near the places we wanted to visit, including Longshaw Estate and Mam Tor. The bedrooms were comfortable and we had a peaceful night's sleep. The kitchen was well-equipped for when we wanted to dine in. I had a fantastic stay and would highly recommend this cottage.
One minor drawback was that the lounge took a while to warm up due to the high ceiling. Additionally, the nearest supermarket was a bit expensive compared to what we're used to.

The cottage was incredibly spacious and spotlessly clean. We instantly fell in love with it when we walked through the door. It truly felt like a home away from home. the welcome hamper was a lovely touch and the cottage had everything we needed. the location was perfect for exploring the local area, with plenty of attractions and activities nearby. We also appreciated the fast WiFi, which kept us connected throughout our stay.
One minor inconvenience was that a few light bulbs needed to be replaced. this did not hinder our overall enjoyment of the cottage.

The cottage was beautifully decorated and had all the necessary amenities, including a well-equipped kitchen and comfortable beds. The welcome basket was a lovely touch, filled with goodies. The location was great, close to a beautiful town and attractions like Thornbridge brewery and Chatsworth House.
Parking was across the street and the village had limited facilities. The walk to the river was steep, making it difficult for less fit individuals.

Everything in the cottage was beautifully decorated and made to feel homely. The welcome basket was a lovely touch. The location was great for exploring the Peak District and there were some fantastic walks nearby. The nearby pub served good food, which was convenient for us.
The directions to the cottage were not clear, and we had to rely on the help of a neighbor to find it. A property sign would have been helpful.

We stayed at Juniper Cottage for 4 nights and it was the best cottage we've ever been to! The place was spotlessly clean with modern bathrooms and thoughtful decorations. The cottage had a well-stocked kitchen and provided all the essentials like toiletries and cleaning products. The outdoor seating area on the patio was lovely too. The allocated parking space was convenient and we had no trouble finding a spot. Over Haddon is a pretty village with great views, and the nearby pub is definitely worth a visit. Thanks, Julie, we had a great time!
Totally recommend this hotel.

The cottage was beautifully decorated for Christmas, creating a festive atmosphere throughout our stay. the location was perfect for exploring the surrounding area, with great views and a local pub nearby to enjoy. - the cottage was well stocked and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay.
The TV in the cottage could use an upgrade as it ran slowly and the sockets at the back were difficult to reach. It would have been helpful to have a long length mirror and some plastic cups for the kids.

Wow! What an amazing experience! This Easter getaway exceeded all my expectations. The cottage was beautifully decorated and spotlessly clean, making me feel like I was in a luxury home. The well-equipped kitchen had everything I needed to prepare delicious meals. The bathroom and shower rooms were both very nice, and the queen-sized bed was incredibly comfortable. The location was perfect, nestled in a quiet and peaceful area. Plus, the welcome basket full of goodies was such a thoughtful touch!
If I had to find one downside, it would be the centrally controlled heating. Unfortunately, it couldn't be turned on during our stay, so we had a couple of chilly nights and mornings.
